Acts 11:16-18

¹⁶ “Then I remembered the word of the Lord. How He said, ‘John baptized with water. But you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.’

¹⁷ “If, then, God gave them a similar gift to the one He gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could hinder God?”

¹⁸ When they heard these things, they kept silent, and glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted repentance unto life to the Gentiles.”
